The IMK Piano Quartet is a newly formed chamber music ensemble created by IMK,
a Vienna-based concert organizer that has been hosting performances since 1992.
Drawing from its extensive network of accomplished musicians,
IMK carefully selects the most suitable performers for this ensemble.
With over three decades of experience in orchestral performances,
IMK is now expanding its focus to the intimate world of chamber music.
The IMK Piano Quartet is set to debut in 2025, marking an exciting new chapter in its musical journey.
Violist Nora Romanoff-Schwarzberg is recognized as a musician with a captivating charisma and is a regular guest on international stages. Both as a soloist as well as a chamber musician she has performed in prestigious venues and festivals such as the Musikverein and Konzerthaus Vienna, Salle Pleyel in Paris, DeSingel Antwerp, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Progetto Martha Argerich in Lugano, Mantova Chamber Music Festival, Podium Festival Esslingen, Heidelberg Spring Music Festival, Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, and the Salzburg Festival.
Cellist Meehae Ryo’s breathtaking technical virtuosity and captivating melody puts her as the most recognized cellist in the Republic of Korea. She endeavors to play music which makes both herself and her audiences happy. Not only is she a beloved cellist, but she is also determined to train pupils by sharing her experiences and skills.
Jaroslaw Nadrzycki is widely considered as one of the most exciting violinist of his generation in the world today. At the age of 12, he made his Moscow debut with the Moscow Conservatoire Orchestra in the Tchaikovsky Conservatory Great Hall. Since then he has become one of the most promising violin virtuosos of today that has included the major new works of 20th and the 21st century in his program.
Dr. Jungwon Jin is Professor of Music and director of the piano department at the Santa Ana College. She is currently on sabbatical leave to research and study Maurice Ravel’s piano music.
Dr. Jin debuted at the age of twelve with Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Three years later, at age of fifteen, her piano trio group won the first place in Aberdeen International Music Festival. Their Tchaikovsky Piano Trio A minor, Op.50 performance won the Audience Prize as well.
