Dear Music lovers and friends,

A scholarship is a financial award given to students to help pay for their education. Scholarships are typically awarded based on various criteria. Such as academic achievement, extracurricular activities, leadership qualities or specific talents. But not only is it a financial aid – It is an investment in a student’s future.

For classical music students, however, the opportunity to perform on a professional stage with a distinguished orchestra in a renowned concert  hall is an invaluable experience that stays with them for a lifetime.

With this vision in mind, I am reaching out to the President of the College of Music to introduce an initiative that has been at the heart of IMK’s mission since 1992: the Scholarship Orchestra Concerts.

Prominent institutions such as the MDW, Vienna State University, the Kronberg Academy of Music, Gustav Mahler University, and the Korean National of Arts are already pioneering this filed in cooperation with IMK.

As the founder and developer of IMK, I take pride in our 32 years of experience supporting both scholarship students and music universities. Through our initiative, we aim to provide young musicians with unparalleled performance opportunities that foster their growth and contribute to the cultural richness of classical music.

I would be delighted to hear from university leaders who are interested in exploring collaboration oppotunities.

Let us talk about the future of classical music education.

Best wishes
Sonja Steindl
